www.betterbidding.com booking.com otel.com best deals

also might try londontown.com

Hilton better for me bidding priceline.com connected to the South Terminal by a covered walkway. The Sofitel London Gatwick is connected to the North Terminal.TravelLodge is an ok not great econo with erratic shuttle GatWick Express leaves from the airport easy to catch just follow signs.

Happy Travels!

On the webpage for the Gatwick Airport Travelodge there is the following information...

<<A hotel shuttle bus is available to and from both Terminals, this service is £3.20 per adult and £2.20 per child (single journey). This operates every day (except Christmas Day) from 03.20 - 00.20. This service is operated by Hotel by Bus.
For more details regarding their timetable please contact them on 01293 774177>>

There is also the Gatwick Central Airport Travelodge, whose webpage states...

<<The airport operates a shuttle bus service from the North and South terminals which runs 24 hours each day. Please note that there are two separate Gatwick Travelodge Hotels and this hotel is the Central hotel, serviced by the following bus numbers G1, G3 and G7. The service runs every 15 minutes between the times of 5am and Midnight and every 30 minutes between Midnight and 5am. Transfer time between the hotel and terminals is less than 15 minutes. A one way ticket is £3 for adults and £1.50 for children.>>

Depending which one you've booked the information about the shuttle bus varies, but either way it seems straightforward enough to me.

I stayed there a few years ago,it was ok,just!but for an overnight stop it won't kill you.Didn't eat there ,had an eceving meal in a Hotel just upo the road (Gatwick manor i think).had breakfast in the airport next morning.
we took the airport shuttle to the hotel but had to wait ages for it,booked a taxi for the trip to the airport in the morning that was less than £10.I thinnk it is worth getting a taxi as the buses are often late and often full.

"<i>how's the shuttle bus from gatwick south terminal go to the hotel and from the hotel how to go to the gawtwick express ??? </i>"

The hotel doesn't run a shuttle of its own -- there is a general hotel shuttle service similar to the Hotel Hoppa at Heathrow. So it doesn't matter which hotel you stay at -- the shuttles serve all of them.

To get to the Gatwick Express -- you have to take the shuttle (and pay again) back to the airport. Then walk to the GEX station.

<B>**</B> Though I certainly hope you aren't staying at this hotel as a base for seeing London. It would be fine for an overnight layover. But to go to London you'd have to pay about £10 for the shuttle (to the hotel, back to LGW to catch the train, and back to the hotel) plus the high cost of the GEX (there is a cheaper train BTW).

Total travel time from the hotel to Victoria station will likely be more than an hour.

As janisij says ,hope you are not using this place as a base for visiting london.
It is a transit hotel,a place to get your head down for a few hours before you a flight not a place to stay for a holiday.

yeah, will just stay for few hours...because my flight will arrive London quite late in the night , that why....

thank you.........
