Travelling with Vueling?

Has anyone travelled with the airline Vueling. I am looking to go from CDG to Venice. They have a flight that suits our early depature. What is it like? Do you pay for food etc. Is it safe?

We just flew Vueling on Saturday from Rome to Paris. Best flying experience of my life, bar none.

Yes, you pay for all extras as it is a no frills airline. But what could you need during such a short flight? Safe? The plane was new and sparkling clean, flight attendants were sharp and efficient and spoke all languages. I just wish we had Vueling in the US. They make SW Airlines look like dog food.

Jetmel -- I am considering taking the same early CDG-Venice flight. Everything I have heard about Vueling is positive. My only concern is how early we would have to get to the airport!

vueling leaves from a terminal that is far from the cdg "madness".

leave at least 90 min., though, but it usually goes quickly. ( i have only taken early morning flights)

We flew Vueling from Barcelona-Palma and back and from Barcelona to Paris. They were fine except that they dented DH's tripod that was packed in his suitcase, but at least they didn't lose it.

I took three flights last summer on Vueling and was very pleased. Extremely reasonable prices, new planes, friendly staff, on-line seat selection.

Thanks for your feedback... I will be making a booking with Vueling!

Vueling is safe as long as they don't lose your luggage, we came home from Rome yesterday with Vueling, they lost about 80% of the passenger's luggage and they still don't know where the luggage are... there's no way to reach them and they don't have an office in France (where we are) and yesterday at the airport there wasn't anyone from vueling to tell us what was going on...
apart from that, yes you pay for food (it's not that expensive though) and i don't know if it's safe...
apparently it's fine as long as you don't check in any luggage...

Sorry to hear you had a bad experience with Vueling when I had such a great experience with them on this same route just three weeks ago.

But, I don't understand what you mean that you can't contact them. They have a telephone number in France as well as in other countries. I had to call them regarding a change in ticket, and the agents I spoke to all spoke perfect English when asked. Their customer service was very responsive to my needs. Here is their France number:

France: 08 00 90 54 61

I havent had any issues with Vueling, it is a great low cost airline. The crew was young and very professional.
