Travelling to Paris with an Infant

heloo ... We are travelling to Paris with a 9 month old Infant , need some advise on how do we get to our hotel - George Washington located at 43 rue Washington
75008 PARIS from the CDG Airport

Although we are travelling light we would be having a stroller + 2 back sacks on us

If we do take a bus from where do we get on the bus & where do we get off .........

We are a little apprenhensive about taking the metro as we are not sure of the stations & where to get off from

Any adivse would be highly apprecited

Thanks
Vikram

Well, just about everybody would tell you to take a taxi from the airport (about 50€), but another easy solution would be to take the Air France bus to Charles de Gaulle Etoile. The hotel is only a couple of blocks away from there.

Here's a map of the area:

If memory serves, the airport bus stops at the top of Av. Wagram (zoom out a bit on that map to see both together), but from there it's a slightly downhill walk to the hotel. It would be a bit of a walk from where any public transport option drops you.

It certainly makes sense not to use the metro till you've had a chance to get settled and refreshed. For later travel within Paris, you might also want to check out the buses:

No, the Air France bus stops on avenue Carnot, 2 streets over, but that is just a tiny detail.

Thanks Kerouac Will check on the options on Air France Bus - Just a another question , do we need to book the bus tickets in advance or can we simply purchase them on board & from where do we board the bus....

No need to book or purchase the bus tickets in advance -- you get them from the driver.
