I have on disc a note on places and events that Fodors parents have said pleased their children, and can gladly send it to you if you ask me.

Welcome to Europe

Ben Haines

I would assign them a joint "homework project" of researching and making a list of the top things they want to do. They're old enough to do that and it would probably not only peak their interest in the things/places they choose but also other things they'll see because they have heard of them through their research.
