Travelling to Germany in May -

We will be in Germany the first part of May. I am having trouble finding a hotel near the airport ( the ones I've found are 300 Euro a night. Can anyone recommend a good hotel not too far from the airport. We will be staying there our last night. Thanks

I'll try to put this nicely.

What city?

Germany has more than one airport.

:)

Best wishes,

Rex
Frankfurt Arport? Stay in Heidelberg and drive to airport in the morning. The Sheraton is on the property but will be expensive. You can get a nice place in Heidelberg and it is an easy drive to Frankfurt airport.

There are many other airports so I hope you want Frankfurt.

Oops, that was kind of dumb! We're flying into and out of Munich, so I just need a hotel near the airport for the last night.

Will you have a car? While it is not that close, it's an easy cross-countryside on good and fast autobahn to Landshut. Maybe 20 miles from Munich airport? So, SO worthy of your consideration.

And I recommend there:

Lindner Hotel Kaiserhof
Tel.: 0049-(0)871-687-0
Fax.:0049-(0)871-687-403
Internet: http://www.lindner.de

Although there are many other less modern, more quaint places on the old town (might not be so car parking friendly, though).
