Travelling in October need some guidance
 
We are leaving for a Bordeaux river cruise on oct 16.. We are trying to decide if we should fly into Lisbon.. Spend some time there and Porto..go to Madrid and San Sebastián ..Barcelona then to Bordeaux? Or just go to Madrid San Sebastián and Barcelona ? We have been to Barcelona before but are meeting friends there on the 13 We would like to be in Bordeaux on the 15 th...hoping to arrive in Europe on the 6 th...
I'll take any help I can get..
There are two of us travelling.

These choices depend on what draws you to each of these places.

With 6 full days, you might be well-advised to stay in Spain and save a lot of transportation time, because Lisbon first would require a flight. Barcelona to Bordeaux flights take a little over an hour, and trains about 6. To see what spanish airports you can fly into, go to skyscanner.com and search your home airport to ES.

Perhaps fly into Bilbao, a big int airport. Spend a little time in vibrant Bilbao, and then go to close by San Sebastian (70 mins bus ride). Fly from Bilbao to Barcelona in one hour.

Thank you everyone...yes kimhe..I was thinking the same thing...it makes it easy and we get to spend longer in each place...ill start checking it all out.
