Patricia Well's-like glossary for translating German menus into English
I'd welcome a recommendation for good German-English menu glossary, especially one that I can download (or upload) to a Kindle. Thanks in advance!

If you have an android phone, Google Goggles will translate your menu. I'm sure iPhones have a similar feature.
You can also upload this pdf to your Kindle: http://www.english-trainer.de/pdf/en...odglossary.pdf

Hi kja,
I downloaded "QuickDic" onto my Android smartphone and find it translates everything I need. I can easily switch between French or German, and it is runs offline. I don't know if it will go onto the Kindle though.
I have also downloaded the Patricia Wells French to English Food Glossary as a pdf (39 pages long . . . ), but it's stored as a document on my Android tablet. Again, don't know how well/if it can be loaded onto Kindle.
Hope you get to work it out!

How I love Fodor's!
Thanks, sparkchaser - that looks looks like exactly what I was hoping to find!
And thanks, swandav, but you are speaking to a ludite: I don't have a cell phone of any sort, let alone a smart one. I have Patricia Wells on my ("ancient") Kindle and will add the english-trainer pdf for German
BTW, I'm still looking for something similar for Italian menus....
