Travelling from Amsterdam to Vienna to Prague and down to Milan/Rome
This is our first time travelling to the western europe.. I would like to find out if train or flying is better to travel from Amsterdam to Vienna to Prague and down to either Milan/Rome beside flying? My husband and I are coming from Asia and would be staying in Amsterdam for a day or two before heading down.. We are planning about 2-3 days in each locations.
Any suggestions on the hotel in these areas? Buget not more than 150€ for 2 persons. Attached bathroom is a must..
Any advice is welcome. Thank you.

You really need to get a map and look at logistics as to which cities at what time.
From Prague, the trains are really bad. There is a thriving tourist bus industry that will take you nonstop to several German towns on the Danube. It's the connection to Danube cruises, so there are lots of buses daily.
From there, you are close to Munich. You can find the appropriate routes from there on good trains. Or, you could add a couple of days in Munich.

Amsterdam to Vienna - you could get an Intercity train to Frankfurt and an overnight sleeper onto Vienna
Vienna to Prague - Eurocity train, 4.5hrs city to city
Prague to Milan - agree with Rastaguytoday that this is a tough one by day maybe 2 or 3 connections. Best thing by train is to go back to Vienna where there is an overnight sleeper to Milan.
If you look at a map, by train it's going to be easier to do Amsterdam > Prague > Vienna > Milan. Easiest way from Amsterdam to Prague is with a change in Berlin, total joruney time around 12 hrs. Maybe build Germany into your itinerary?

Thanks, I realized it's better to go from Amsterdam > Prague > Vienna > Milan. In this way, do I still travel via intercity train from Amsterdam to Prague? Then from Prague to Vienna via Eurocity train and Vienna to Milan via overnight sleeper?
Any suggestions on hotels/B&B?
