traveling with our two gay friends

These guys will know what to wear?????
My wife and I need some help.
We will be in Rome, Venice, Florence
in the begining of Jan. What kinds of
clothes suggestions?? Thanks so much from all of us

Well, you can wear the same type of clothes that your gay friends are wearing, assuming they are men.

Your wife can wear something for cold and possibly damp weather and dress in layers.

Wear what you would wear in the States. As for your two gay friends, jeans, shirt, shoes, warm jacket, maybe some socks and underwear, hat/gloves. You'll have a great time. ((b))

Most gay guys dress no differently than your straight husband but more trendy, perhaps :)

I'm gay and I do NOT love to go shopping; I dress well but no better than a lot of other men; those guys LEARNED what to wear from someone/somewhere so perhaps you might ask THEM what you should wear.

No white sneakers that's for sure! Wear skinny jeans if you have the figure, it is all the rage with gays here in Europe.

I don't understand why you or your gay friends should change the way you usually dress just because you are going to Italy together.... Am I missing something here????

In my experience, Italian men dress like gay men so they should fit in just fine.

Hi A,

>We will be in Rome, Venice, Florence

I suggest you bring winter clothing.

Good one Kate ! And it's some in a good way, some in a bad way, isn't it ? :-)

I've just remembered - black puffa jackets! Essential wear in Italy from October-April, male or female, young or old. Short ones, long ones, but always black. Will the Italians never tire of these things?

Is this a question (all those question marks) about if your gay griend will know what to wear or not? I don't get it. I never realized skill in putting together a travel wardrobe was based on sexual preference -lol!

I think you should all dress appropriately for the weather and activities you will be doing. I suggest for everyone from bottom to top: boots, socks, pants, underwear, tshirt, sweater, scarf, jacket, gloves, hat. Voila!!
;-)

Cigalechanta,
I hope you're joking.

Dukey,

Are you sure you're gay?

Suze, it's not a preference it is how we were born.

suze Nov 23rd, 2006 10:48 AM

Hal, give me a break!

of course it is your "preference" especially since you were born that way. sheez.
