Sorry if I got you excited. Hopefully we'll see some sales like last Feb. I saw a flight from SFO to Heathrow r/t on Virgin for 253.00. Unfortunately, I had already purchased my tickets by then (for 1134.00).

London, Brussels, Amsterdam and Frankfurt are probably the logical airports with possibly cheaper flights. But you have to figure in the cost of the train travel to Paris. If leaving from one of these airports, you may have to include a night spent in that city because of timing problems, although I did obtain a morning BMI flight from Paris to Heathrow with a 4 hour layover to SFO.
