Traveling through Europe for 10 days in June- help me decide!
I'll be traveling through Italy in June, but would also like to spend 3 days in either Prague or Brussels...what do you recommend?

I haven't been to Prague, but spent a weekend in Brussels. Personally, other than the fabulous food, I felt Brussels was quite boring. There is the beautiful square and a few museums, but 3 days would be 2 too many for me. I would opt for Prague.
Be sure you book open jaw flights, into Italy and our of Prague/Brussels to avoid the wasted time and money backtracking... |
They are both nice cities. Prague is good for 3-ish days - Brussels maybe 2. But It sounds like you've allocated 7 days for 'traveling through' Italy - that isn't very much depending on where you are going.

Unless you have seen most of Italy on previous trips, I would spend the entire 10 days there.

Thanks for all your responses!
so if I only do Italy, what places should I go and how long the stay in each? I would be flying out of Dublin to Italy (not sure where to start either?). |
Prague not Brussels from your first question.
Venice 2-3 days, Lucca 2 days (more if you side trip to Florence 3 days), Siena 2 days, Rome 5 days for you second |
