That does make sense. We were going to try to go to Buckingham Palace on the 27th but I think we can do it the other way which makes more sense and we will just have to miss out on Buckingham Palace this time around. any places you would suggest to stay in Liverpool Tours that you would suggest we take also any personal driving tours through the Cotswolds, that could also get us to Horley for a short amount of time And then we will finish up in London. I was not even aware that Manchester was an international airport terminal you guys give us such good information.

Just very quick right now -- a lot on my plate tonight. MAN does have flights from the States, and also has flights up from LHR. So that gives you a wide option for airlines/departure cities either flying directly into MAN, or connecting through LHR..

In terms of passenger numbers Manchester is bigger than all but 8 airports in the US.

If not, we would rent a car. We are considering leaving the Cotswolds on Tuesday and going to Liverpool. We would like to spend Wednesday Thursday and Friday in Liverpool. Saturday we fly back to the states so we would either stay at Liverpool Friday night or go back to London and then leave for Heathrow. How does that sound for timing? I was reading Denise a and she raved about Liverpool. We have been to London several times and wanted to do more of the countryside. While in the Cotswolds, I am still hoping to be able to go to Horley and see the village where we lived 48 years ago as far as where to stay when we are in London, we are thinking of the covenant garden area any Hilton hotels you would recommend there or anywhere on our trip. As always, thank you for your help.

That sounds like a great trip! I'm following along regarding your transport options.

There's a Hilton a half mile from Covent Garden. I had reservations there last May and switched them to another Hilton. I wish I hadn't. Check out the Trafalgar St. James.
