Traveling from FCO to Spoleto and back
I will be traveling from FCO to Spoleto in March. My plane arrives at 7:10 am. What is the best way to get to Spoleto. For my departure My flight leaves from FCO at 11am. Will there be a bus or train that can get me to the airport on time, or should I spend my last night in Rome?
Thanks

You can go direct by train. See http://www.trenitalia.com To see how long from the airport, use Roma Aeroporto Fiumicino. It's about 2:25 hrs.

If you are departing Rome for a non-EU destination then I would allow heaps of time (arrive at airport 2-3 hrs prior to departure). If you are coming from Spoleto that would mean a very early start.
Not sure for EU destinations.

There is a reserved Trenitalia Intercity train at 9:37 from Roma TERMINI (probably too early for you), then an unreserved Trenitalia regionale train at 11:37 from Roma TIBURTINA (arriving Spoleto at 13:04).
The Trenitalia airport train to TERMINI costs 14 Euros and runs every 30 minutes. The separate and distinct Trenitalia airport train to TIBURTINA costs 8 Euros and runs every 15 minutes (30 minutes on Sundays).
If you end up taking the 11:37 regionale train from Roma TIBURTINA, you'll need to take the airport train to TIBURTINA.
RETURN TRIP:
You need to be at the airport by 8 a.m.
There is an unreserved Trenitalia regionale train from Spoleto at 5:05, arriving Roma TIBURTINA at 6:30. From there, take the Trenitalia airport train to Fiumicino airport.
The one-way fare from FCO Airport to Spoleto (via Roma TIBURTINA and using the unreserved regionale train) is 8 Euros plus 7.60 Euros.
The airport train between FCO and TIBURTINA takes 45 minutes each way.
From the train station in Spoleto to the Old Town (a STEEP two kilometers on foot), there are local buses and taxis.
