Hi Ka,

>I was thinking early spring, maybe March. ....<

I suggest late April.

You have a higher probability of cold, rainy and windy in March.

Hi Kathy, just another idea. There is an organization called Meridianosedici – they offer gourmet trips to Amalfi Coast also in winter and spring time. We’ve been thinking of doing one of their Cilento trips. A friend of us did the Classic Car Tour in Puglia for his honeymoon and was absolutely enthusiastic about it. As he told us, the journeys are very personal and you get close to the land and its people.

Well, whatever you decide, have a wonderful trip! The Costiera for sure is beautiful in any period of the year. Don’t forget to let us know afterwards …!

Been to AC via cruise and Sorrento is one place I have to go back to. September is a great time for Europe, still busy but not elbow to elbow with families, and weather is great!

Envying your trip. Way to go- just do it! If you're looking for a roomie to share accomodations there must be some sites out there that people can check out potential travel companions. Try Journeywoman, a sit specifically for women travellers.
