Travel trains in Switzerland.

Hello Everybody,

I have a question to use a train ticket in Switzerland.

If I buy a ticket from point "A" to point "D",

Can I get off and get on again in ponit "B and C" to spend leisure time there , before I reach point "D"

Thus, I can visit more points during the trip.

Assume I use the ticket on the Same day.

Hope to hear your experience

Thanks.

I think perhaps not. If you get on the train and that ticket is validated for use on that date you may not be able to stop of en-route but am sure there are others who can actually clarify this for you.

Yes you can, as long as the ticket is used the same day.

I have bought train tickets from Kleine Scheidegg to Interlaken via Grindelwald and gotten off the train in Grindelwald to walk around for an hour or two before getting on the train from Grindelwald to Interlaken.
