Travel to Istanbul, Turkey from NYC
Hi!
I'm hoping to visit Turkey during the 1st week of July. Going from NYC to Istanbul.
What prices should I be expecting for airfares?
Also, does anybody know of any good websites for buying tickets online OR travel agents in NYC to buy airline tickets from?
Thanks in advance!

Turkish Airlines and Delta are the two that have non-stop flights. Expect around $1,100-1,200 for July. [It's just slightly more than going to, say, Italy.]
Or there are dozens of one-stop connections. Expect around $1,000.

OK this is going to sound a little weird:
If you book your Turkish airlines ticket directly on their website you'd pay about $1300, but if you book your flight on the American airlines website, which is a partener of Turkish airlines, they would book you on a Turkish airline flight but you'd pay $1110 !
