Travel time to Luton Airport?

Just wondering if anyone has recently taken the shuttle bus from Luton Airpot Parkway station to the airport ... how long did it actually take to get to the airport check-in?

(The web site says five minutes, depending on road works ... but that can mean anything in London.)

I will arrive to Luton Airport Parkway circa 5pm on a weekday, in case that impacts traffic.

Thanks -

"but that can mean anything in London" Luton isn't in London - it is well north. The shuttle would take 5 - 10 mins most of the time.

10 minutes but you may have to wait a while for the shuttle to fill up and depart. Traffic won't be an issue.
It's always best to have extra time rather than a last minute rush.
Good luck :-)

We were on the shuttle this morning and it took about 35 mins from the airport to the station, the longest it's ever taken us. We use Luton Airport quite a lot and normally it takes about 10 mins for the trip from the station to the airport.

Usually you also have to wait for the bus to turn up and occasionally it fills up and leaves people still waiting (full bus) who wait for the next bus to come along.

Impossible to guess how long it will take on a given day but somewhere between 10 mins and 40 mins. Peak hour and roadworks are the main problems you may encounter.
