Travel through Naples
 

We are looking to spend a day in Naples but then take the train to Rome, which is where our flight home leaves from. If we are arriving by ferry or hydrofoil from Capri or Sorrento in the morning, and then taking the train in the evening, what could we do with our luggage? We obviously do not want to be shlepping bags as we tour museums in Naples. Is there a safe place to store the luggage near the boat docks or the train station?

security is pretty bad at the station. So get your gear into the lockers sensibly and don't just leave it about.

Most stations have left luggage facilities with an attendant.
