Great pictures! I loved 088 in Arras, the sculpture ...

What camera/lens did you use for these?

A Panasonic Lumix FZ300 which has a 25-600mm lens. BTW, you can ask for the full information on each picture by clicking on "Show EXIF".

Glorious -- thank you so much!
Did you either hang glide or paraglide?

Wonderful! We spent 10 days in the Pyrenées in the dead of winter last year and saw many of the same sights. It's glorious territory.

Lovely photos - lovely places. Thanks for sharing. Are most of the places you visited in the Pyrenees accessible by public transport?

I am not sure. From pont d'Espagne we walked up the road some, came to a chairlift that took us to the same level as the lac de Gaube and walked over and back. But I do not know if there are public buses that go to pont d'Espagne. As I think of it, I believe that there is a téléphérique that goes from Cauterets to pont d'Espagne, and I am sure that there is public transportation to Cauterets. Estaing is a village, but the lac d'Estaing is a distance into the mountains from the village. So again I do not know if the lac d'Estaing area is readily reachable by public transportation. We traveled in the Pyrénées by car, so my knowledge of public transportation is very sketchy.

Thank you, Michael. I'd love to visit this area but I prefer to use public transport, combined with some day hikes. I'll look into this further when the time comes closer.
