Travel Insurance

Jump to last reply

I know you're all experienced travelers, but I wanted to do a little amateur ad for travel insurance of some kind. I have purchased it the last few years and actually used it to cover the cost of the deposit we made on a trip to China. My sister had a heart attack before we were to leave, and we used the insurance then.

My cousin's husband--I call him my cousin-in-law--was stricken with pneumonia on a trip to New Zealand. He was very sick and had a long stay in a hospital in Wellington. He was provided with a private nurse paid for by Travel Guard and will be having medical evacuation back to Seattle today or tomorrow. They've been waiting for a medical evacuation plane to be available to take him back.

His daughters and his grandson were very worried and traveled to New Zealand to see him.

As I said, I always get Travel Guard now that I'm so [email protected] old, and Raj's experience has opened my eyes to the services that good insurance provides.
