1 . Mine URL, may not be the best travel guide, but it is one of the few web sites, with someone on the other side of the computer, that IS in portugal, and answers to questions.<BR><BR>2 . JOS&Eacute; SARAMAGO - Portuguese novelist that won the Nobel Prize in 1999.(start with Memorial do Convento).<BR>Poetry + history = LUSIADAS from LUIS VAZ DE CAM&Otilde;ES - XVI century poet, that wrote a book (OS LUSIADAS) that tells the story of the Portuguese discoveries in poetry (all lines have 10 silabs). It's amazing.<BR>
