If any one has read it, is it good?

Are you looking for a tour guide or a guidebook? If the latter, we really like the Michelin Green Guide to Paris.

Yup
Michelin green guide - written by frenchs and translated.
For restaurants and hotels, you have the red guide Michelin, unless it is not translated.

I don't really like Michelin guides that way for usability, although they can have some good detailed information on sites, probably a little more than some more general guidebooks. I don't like the way they are organized when they are for the country. In fact, that isn't even very useful when just for a city. LIke the Paris one, will have neighborhoods and sites listed alphabetically rather than by area (Auteil, Bastille, Beaubourg, ...

I know Paris pretty well so don't use a guidebook any more, but in general, I think Fodors, Frommers and Lonely Planet all do a pretty good job, some shine more in some countries than others. I also like Cadogan guides but they not be quiet as user-friendly as some others, but good info. Not as good for hotel, etc recommendations. I don't like Rick Steves for France, although he can be okay in some other countries, like Switzerland. I hate Eyewitness guidebooks, think they are the worst in terms of content. Let's Go is good for younger people.

Since you are freeloading on this site, you owe it to them to look up the listings under Destinations, on the top left of the screen.
