Travel from Chamonix to Paris by car

My daughter is vising Swtzerland and France by car wih her family in May 2013.

1. She will be travelling from Montreax to Chamonix first. Please advise which route is better. Montreax- Martigny to Chamonix or Montreax- Geneva Airport to Chamonix. What is the driving time for both routes.
2. From Chamonix to Paris, which is the best route to take and how much will be driving time.

Yes, viamichelin gives you options such as scenic route, no tolls roads, etc. and will give estimated costs for the route chosen.

Montreux through Martigny is the most direct, as checking with any map will indicate. Probably a 1.5 hour drive. If it is clear, riding the cable car up to the Aiguille du Midi is a great experience.
For a charming place to stay a night, I'd recommend Megeve, a short distance away.

On the drive to Paris, and I assume the car needs to go all the way there, how many days are allowed for this?
