Travel from Antwerp Airport to Brussels city centre
Help
I feel so foolish, booked a weekend break in Belgium staying in a hotel in Brussels but flying into Antwerp airport at around 21:40 hours
How do I get from the airport to Brussels city centre (or the midi station), how easy is it at this tiime of the day and approx how much will it cost ?

I have no clue where the Antwerp airport is. Assuming that you can get to the Antwerp (Central) train station, there are trains to Brussels (Central) at 22:30, 23:26, and 00:30. More info at www.b-rail.be.

Antwerp airport is in Deurne-Antwerpen. The nearest train station is Antwerpen-Berchem which, from Antwerp airport, is either a short taxi ride or a 15 min. bus ride on line no. 14 Vremde-Antwerpen CS. The bus stop is in front of Antwerp airport and you'll have to get off at Antwerpen-Berchem station. Just ask the driver to give you a sign where to get off. It's easy.
From Anwerpen-Berchem there are frequent trains going to Brussels. All of them stop at Brussel Noord, Brussel Centraal (city centre) and Brussel Zuid (Midi).
The bus ticket will cost no more than 1.50 euro (single). The train depends whether on a weekday or weekend. A single ticket Antwerpen-Brussel costs 6.10 euro. A weekend RETURN (valid from Fri after 7 pm till Sun night) costs 6.80 euro.

The good thing is that Antwerp Airport is very small, and it is very fast to get through. Even if you check luggage, you'll be outside in minutes. So much easier than Brussels, where you sometimes have quite a long walk, and wait for luggage.
And Berchem station is very close. Just check the train times at the website mentioned.
