Trave in ITALY in late Oct early Nov

My wife and I will be traveling to Italy late October early November 2004. We will travel from the Lake country to Sorento. Will be need heavy coats or will a light coat and sweaters do. I am thinking that packing will be a real bitch.

We have traveled throughout Italy from mid-October through mid-November, and leather jackets were fine. If normal weather prevails, you see temperatures in the 50s and low 60s.

It's going to be significantly cooler between the lakes and Sorrento. Sorrento will likely be short sleeve weather and the lakes will be jacket weather

Thanks for the reply. I am thinking that packing will be fun trying to bring a little of everything. I guess I will just wing it and try not to be too formal.

We'll be there at the same time and plan to layer clothes. Just be sure you have one jacket large enough to fit over several layers and you'll be fine.

Don't forget an umbrella. That's good insurance that you won't have to use it!

Have a good trip.
