Trastevere to FCO?

We are flying out of FCO on Wed. Oct 13. What is the easiest way to get from Trastevere to FCO? Also, what time would we need to arrive at the airport? Our plane departs at 1130 am. Is it the same as U.S. airports (2hrs prior)? All options are a possibility (private shuttle, taxi, train) please advise.

How many people are in your group. This helps with determining the best way at the best cost.

The train from Trastevere departs every 15 minutes (starting at 5:21 am) and travel time is 27 minutes. Cost is 8€.

How close are you staying to Trastevere train station?

There are 2 in our group and we are staying about 2 blocks south of Santa Maria in Trastevere. We just arrived here today and I have yet to find the Trastevere train station. Thank you in advance for your help.

You won't find the train station just by looking around. It's several stops south of Piazza Sonnino by tram No. 8 down Viale Trastevere.

I took a private car/taxi arranged by my b&b in Trastevere.

A couple of weeks ago I took the Leonardo express from Termini to fco, but I have not mastered the trains or metro from trastevere.

Tram 8 (should be able to catch very close to your hotel) or taxi to the Trastevere station. If you look at a map, the station is close to the river in the direction of the airport.
