Transportation in the Country

Hello everyone, my friend and I are traveling from Milan to Bari, but stopping in between the popular cities(Venice, Florence, Rome, Naples). We will be in Italy for the entire month of October (Oct9th-Nov 3rd). Does anyone know the best and cheapest way to get from each location (unlimited traveling or pass per city)? Are there festivals are must doīs and do notīs that anyone has for us? Any advice is appreciated.

In most cases a pass will be more expensive than buying point-to-point tickets. If you want to compare, I suggest going to railsaver.com, entering your itinerary, and clicking the box on the lower right that says "only if it saves me money". It will return the best deal for you - which pass is best, or it will tell you that point-to-point tickets are the cheapest for you.

Sorry, I should have said "lower left" for the "only if it saves me money" box.

Hi C,

You can price your tickets between cities and daytrips from each city at http://www.trenitalia.com/cms/v/inde...0080a3e90aRCRD

PS,

You want the Amica fares, which you can buy the day before.
