Transportation in Nice, FR

I will be arriving in Nice by train and leaving by plane. I am having trouble finding a definate way to get to my hotel; and then from my hotel to the airport. Does anyone have any suggestions or what I should look for when I arrive at the train station. Thanks.

buses link the station to all parts of town as do taxis of course.

Airport buses go to the airport every 20 mins from the Nice main train station (Nice-Ville) and from the Gare Routiere (main bus station that may well be nearer to your hotel). Ask your hotel desk about airport shuttles right from your hotel to the airport, about five miles west of Nice.

Can you get a bus map at the train station or somewhere close to make sure you get onto the correct bus

Bus # 99 is the direct bus to and from the airport to the main train station.

there has always been the Nice tourist office next to the train station...if still there just pop in their and ask. You may need to buy a bus ticket before boarding the bus and cancel it yourself. Tickets at newsstand kiosk in station probably.

I forgot to say that you will buy your ticket as you board the bus. I think it is still 3€. You can take a taxi, but the last time I did cost about 30€.
