Transportation from Nice airport to Nice town

Is there a train or bus going from Nice Airport Terminal 1 to town near the Boulevard des Anglais? Is there a website link I can go to? Thanks

There are regular busses from outside the airport. The route is printed inside the bus. It goes along the Boul de Anglais and you just have to shout at the point you want to stop at.

Buy your ticket on the bus and don't forget to validate it on the machines.

Enjoy Nice, it's beautiful, but do take the train to Monaco, it's AMAZING!

Sonia

For what it's worth, the airport in Nice is practically IN TOWN...it is at the far west end of the Blvd des Anglais. I once walked there from near the Negresco to meet some in-coming friends. Also, a taxi is under $10.

Hi Barb,

Taxis are quite cheap and plentiful since the airport is nearly walking distance ( in fact it probably is!) to town. Have a great time. One of my favorite places. SIGH

Another vote for a taxi. I was traveling with friends, so there was a lot of luggage & even then, our cab fare was quite inexpensive.

Bon Voyage,
BC

Here's a link to the Nice Airport's website. You can download bus schedules and other information.
Have a great time.
