Transportation from Bellagio to Como
 

Anyone familiar with any transportation options between Bellagio & Como? I'll be Bellagio & need to go to Como & back in a day - wondering if there are buses, trains, etc.

We took the hydrofoil-very easy and faster than the regular ferry.

Thanks - didn't know there was a hydrofoil - great. Any idea on how long the ride is?

Hi Bobby - Journey time by hydrofoil is about 40-50 mins.

The other option is bus.

Agree the hydrofoil is efficient. Taxi will take about the same time (unless it is busy - i.e. weekends - and August). Buses add about 15 minutes. No train.

We are also planning to spend 3 nights in the Lakes region in late October (http://www.hotelglavjc.it) in Torno, a small town about 1/2 way between Bellagio & Como. We are concerned about the availability of bus transport to see the villages around the lakes at that time of year. We are flying out of Malpenza early p.m. so also concerned about getting back to Como for train to airport. Any help/suggestions would be really appreciated.
