Transportation from Athens airport to Kolonaki
 

We would like a recommendation for transportation from Athens airport to Kolonaki. It is possible to use the metro? How much would a taxi cost approximately?

the Daytime taxi fare is fixed between the airport and Central Athens, €35.

You can take the Blue Line Airport Metro to either the Evangelismos or Syntagma stations and you'll be very close. From either station a taxi would be inexpensive, or you could also walk if you are travelling light.

Finding a taxi in Athens is now much easier compared to a couple of years ago :)
Kolonaki is a hill.... so if your accommodation is on the top of the hill ( like the St. George Lycabettus Hotel) climbing there with a suitcase is very difficult.....
