Transportation from Airport to Marriott Hotel
 

Wife and I arriving in Zurich around 8:00am on 9-14. Planning on buying 24 hour Zurich card, leaving for Lucerne on 15th. Should we take Marriott bus, regular bus, or take train into Zurich and then a cab? Do you have suggeations where to eat breakfast somewhere around the Marriott? Thanks

Well, until you re-post, here are my thoughts --

The train into Zurich will cost about 5 chf, and you can walk to the Marriott from the train station.

If the Marriott bus is cheaper than 5 chf, I'd take that.

Topping this.

The center of the city is easily reached by rail from the airport and you could take a cab from there.

Others here have actually stayed in that hotel (it apparently comes up on Priceline) so hopefully one of them will answer.
