transportation between airports and Central London

I recently needed transportation from Central London to Heathrow Airport. 1st Class UK was recommended to me, and at first I thought they they would be expensive, but I was surprised to discover that they could provide transportation for up to four people for 65 pounds between the airport and any address in Central London. For four people, it was cheaper than taking a taxi to the train station and then the train to the airport. It was cer tainly much more convenient. For one person, it is, of course, cheaper to use mass transport, but thisservice was surprisingly budget-friendly for a small group. Their website is www.1stclassuk.com

What is this, an advertisement? A solicitation?

There are so many posts on this forum about transport from London to the airports that this couldn't be anything other than a back-door ad.

And 65 quid is overpriced by about 40%+.

Neither an advertizement nor a solicitation. I just found the service helpful and thought that I should let others know. Sorry if it offended anyone.

For an even better price try www.justairports.com

Prizren: They may have given you good service -- but it definitely wasn't a bargain. Justairports will do most central London post codes for about £30 - £35-ish. And in May, Ray Skinner took 6 of us from LHR to just east of the Tower for £59 (he was cheaper than justairports for this journey)

A cab all the way from LHR would have cost you about the same as 1st Class charged.
