Transportation

We're flying into Dublin and training to Galway - - what is the best method of transport to use to get from Dublin Airport to the HEUSTON train station. Thanks

you can take the 748 bus from just outside the Arrivals Hall at the airport. The buses leave approx every half hour and take about 45 minutes. For the timetable, see www.dublinbus.ie

You can get a CityLink bus direct to Galway (Tourist Office) from Dublin airport: http://www.CityLink.ie

As I recall it cost 15 Euro one way and 25 Euro R/T. It runs hourly from Dublin airport and takes about 4-hours to Galway.

I checked with CityLink by e-mail and they told me they don't have A W.C. on the buses to Galway. 4 hours w/o a W.C. didn't sound so great to me. We are going to take the train.

Did you ask if there was a stop on the route....I have only taken a bus to Donegal Once from Dublin (NOT recommended) and there was a stop halfway. Trains are faster and probably more comfortable.
