transport from airport
Hi all, we are a family of 4 ( 2adults and 2 children) arriving into Zagreb. Are taxi's very expensive or is it more affordable to hire a travel agency for pickup services? We arrive May 10.
Many thanks. |
There is an airport bus that runs to the main bus station. About 30 kuna each I think. A taxi would be around 200 kuna.

hello
BUS to the main bus station 30 kn per person children up to 6 years - free TAXI cca. 200 kn Travel agency 30 € |
the buses from the airport are quite ok
they dont always run to the timetable posted on the posts but if youre not in a rush you should be ok - theyre comfortable |
Hi, and thanks all for your replies. Is it not difficult to take the bus with the kids and luggage? I contacted a local travel agent but was quoted 60E w/c seems really high to me.

You will be fine with the bus but take a taxi if you really need to.
|
I know the t.agency, they arrange a transfer for 30€.
|
It's an airport bus, so it will be expecting luggage. It is stored beneath the bus. The kids will like the adventure and you will like the savings!
You might need a taxi from the bus station to your hotel, depending on where it is. |
Hi Johnnyglobe,
Can you please share the name and contact info of the travel agency for 30E transport. Thanks. Donna |
Taxi will cost less than travel agency.

Hi, We took the bus from the airport in Zagreb to the downtown bus depot--then a taxi to our hotel. That cost more than the bus from the airport--was the Central Hotel, just for one night. Had we not been jetlagged, we could have walked the five blocks to the hotel, by going to the corner and turning left. The bus is as good as any airport shuttle in the US and it was part of the "adventure."
