Based on your itinerary I would fly into London and out of paris - to avoid wasting a day. the cost won;t be anyhigher unless you are alredy locked into London RT tickets.
For hotels you need to give a specific budget per night - in euros or pounds - and confirm that you want a triple room for 3 adults (or adult size people, not a small child) and if you can use a double bed with a rollaway cot - or are looking for a double bed and a twin bed.

I already booked the flight. In and out of Heathrow. Any suggestions for hotel near London bridge/London eye. Looking for something reasonable since I would be spending little time in room. So if you fly into Heathrow what transporation would you take to London central area? The from there to Dover?

Your cruise may offer a bus transfer from central London to Dover. This might be fairly reasonable.
If not, your other options are train or National Express bus. The NE bus is almost always the least expensive but the longest.

Trains leave you at Dover Priory station, about a mile from the docks - buses probably serve the main bus depot within walking distance of the docks perhaps or may even stop right in front of them.
