Translation Site...
 

A couple of months back someone listed a web site that would easily translate whatever you typed into a box, however long, into any number of other languages, “Easy Translations” or something like that. Knowing that this sort of thing is fraught with mistakes, the one mentioned was actually pretty good, or at least acceptable. It was easy and it was a freebie. I had bookmarked the page but, alas, my computer crashed and I’ve lost the site. A search here did no good and I’m grasping for straws in the hope someone might remember that particular site or could suggerst another.

Was it Sytranet maybe?

In a pinch, I use altavista. www.av.com and then click on translate.

Or maybe www.travlang.com??

Or systransoft.com ?

Anyone tried these out as suggested?<BR>Which worked?

I've never tried this translation service (Italian), but it's part of a website that has a good online dictionary that I use often. (You need to register and sign in to use it, but it's a very simple registration.)<BR><BR>http://www.garzantilinguistica.it/club/prodotti/

I have been using www.freetranslation.com. The free part is a literal translation(can be pretty funny). There is a human translation that I think costs money.
