Oh my -- I've heard that one before Neil, and I still laughed so hard I almost snorted my Chardonnay all over the screen.

I agree with Christina. It is impossible for a ballet teacher not to know the term. I learned it from a very strict ballet master when I was about 7 (although he did not hit us, Mz Scarlett!).

Ronda!! We have a beloved male flame point as well (maybe not pure bred, however). Are they not THE most wonderful and amazing creatures? Not to mention the most beautiful of all felines...

So glad this was brought back to the top. My actress has been bringing the house down nightly with her awkward attempts at entre chat, which she repeats over and over again while her ballet master is distracted in conversation. I will give her the Italian suppository note and tonight her performance may reach new heights!!

Not snorting Chardonnay at 8 am on the West Coast, but everyone in the neighborhood was certainly rudely awakened by my guffaws. Patrick, let us know if the actress' treatment is successful.

Well, Marilyn, we love our cat as we would a bad child - he's ours, he's mean, but we love him anyway. The Vet said he is a flame point but we aren't sure. He has the markings, got darker this winter. We found him in the creek behind our house and WE KNOW WHY SOMEONE THREW HIM THERE.

My husband has some obsessive fascination with this cat since he rescued him; HIS cat can do no wrong. The cat follows him around the yard like a dog! We have a dog so we suspect the cat THINKS he is a dog, too. Can you believe that he stays in our yard? With the dog, of course.

Ronda, it's the breed. We say that ours is a dog trapped in a cat's body. He follows us both everywhere and just wants to be with us. But ours is a lover boy. Since yours was living rough, maybe some time and lots of love will take the edges off. If you email me, I'll send you a funny photo of our boy Romeo.

PS Patrick, my apologies for hijacking the thread! (But I guess you got your answer already anyway.)
