I called the airline and they said that in their opinion I am not entering or leaving France so I don’t need the certificate of leaving. I only need the PCR test and the statement that I don’t have covid symptoms. However if they happen to ask me additional documents in the airport and I don’t have them, the airline will give me chance to change the flights to another date. So it should not be a problem
If however worse case scenario and you do need to change your flights, how often is there a CDG-SDQ flight, what if the next one is full and how would a delay like that affect the validity of your PCR test for your destination? How would get additional documents, whatever they may be? And what would the cost be of changing your flight or are you assuming it would be FOC? Would you be stuck airside at CDG if you had to change your flight or would you enter France and stay overnight at a hotel? If so, that changes things. |

That was true for entering certain Schengen countries from outside the Schengen such as Germany, which recently opened, and Belgium which may still be closed to non-EU passport entries. Presently, I am unaware of any intra-Schengen restrictions for those with EU passports or for those who are EU residents.
The point I was making is that traveling within Schengen is not the same as domestic travel. |
