Transit Paris Gare de Lyon to CDG

We are in Dijon and will take TGV in AM to Gare de Lyon in Paris. We arrive Gare de Lyon 9:32 am . WE have a 1:30pm flight. Since we need to be at CDG 3 hours prior do you think we have the time to take shuttle bus or should we take a cab ? What is the price of each?

The Air France coach runs every 30 minutes, takes about 50 minutes from Gare de Lyon to CDG, and is 14 euro each way.

You don't have to be at airport 3 hours prior during non-peak period. I think it's okay.

We are flying American Airlines. Does that make a difference? Is it a different terminal?

AA flies out of CDG 2A, which is the first stop the Air France coach makes.

I don't know when you're flying, but if you're doing it in the next few days and not a major holiday (like Christmas), you'll be fine.

You have plenty of time. You could take the RER train line B to CDG and still be there more than 3 hours before your flight. But as another poster has said, you don't need to be there 3 hours before the flight. I never arrive at CDG more than 2 to 2.5 hours before the flight. American Airlines uses Terminal 2-A at CDG.

I forgot to tell you that from Gare de Lyon you would need to take either the RER line A or the metro line 1 to Chatelet to get the RER B-3 train to CDG.

From Gare de Lyon, the Air France Coach (Le Cars Air France) is the much better option, even though a little more expensive. Bus stop is steps from the front door, and the drop off point is also steps from AA's check-in counter. Way way less walking and hauling of luggage than RER.

Thank you both so much. I think we will take the Air France shuttle since our bags are laden with goodies from Paris ,Provence and Dijon.
