transferring at cdg from Delta to Easy jet
Arriving Delta 2c at CDG trying to connect to Easy jet 2B We will not have any checked bags and will have printed our boarding passes on Easy Jet.
Anyone know rather we still have to clear customs and go to easy jet counter?

If you are coming from the US - yes, you will have to clear immigration. If only carry-on luggage I don't believe you will have to go through customs - but Immigration is what takes time - esp if several international flights have landed at once.

Going through customs or not has absolutely NOTHING to do with whether or not you have luggage. It isn't as if people who have carry-on's only can skip Customs ( I guess things you might have to pay duty on can't possibly fit into a backpack).

Please read easyJet's website very closely so you understand their cabin luggage rules. When it says one bag in the cabin, it means ONE, not one plus your computer plus your shoulder bag. Every easyJet departure gate I've ever gone through has been clogged with would-be passengers frantically trying to consolidate their belongings into one small bag.

According to the Delta route map, only flights arriving in CDG are from outside the EU/Schengen zone. Also I think moving from terminal 2C to 2B requires you to enter France irrespective of where you are heading on your easyjet. As such, you need to go through:
1. passport control to enter Schengen zone.
2. customs, which is a non event as it takes about 5 seconds to walk throught the "nothing to declare" green door. I presume the word "customs" conjures up an image of three hour ordeal like in some third world countries? Entering France requires none of that for those not carrying prohibited/dutied items.
3. carry-on security check by airport security (you exit out of secure zone in moving from 2B to 2C)
4. departure gate check by Easyjet
Easyjet is a point to point carrier. It provides no provision for transit passengers. I think you need to go to their counter if your US carry-on compliant bags are not Easyjet carry-on compliant.

if your US carry-on compliant bags are not Easyjet carry-on compliant.
This is VERY important. Easyjet is very strict about size and their carryon measurements are smaller than US. Be sure to measure including handles and wheels because they will! I saw them pull bag after bag to gate check, even after people has "used" the metal sizer [which they inevitably squeezed their bags into, which easyjet gate agent won't do.]
It is much less money to pay ahead for bag than last minute gate check.
