Transfer from Trieste airport to Lucija, Slovenia
 

I need to get from Trieste airport to Lucija in Slovenia on Monday 4th July. The plane is due to arrive in Trieste airport at 11.25am and I need to be at Lucija bus station, if possible, by 3pm. Can anybody give me any advice on this? One website said that Terravision do transfers to Lucija but on their website there is not an option for this - I don't know if it's a service they've stopped.

Have you looked at public transportation options offered on the website of the Trieste airport? If there is no direct coach to Lucija, you might be able to get one to a nearby town like Koper and take a taxi from there. However, you will need some flawless luck, I think, in getting to Lucija by 3pm using public transportation.

But I suggest you work this the other way -- meaning, contact people where you are going in Slovenia and ask them for help. They may know of regular service to Lucija from central Trieste, and it is fairly simple to get to central Trieste from the airport.

PS -- you might consider a coach from the airport to Piran (90 minutes), and then a bus from there to Lucija. They run every 15 minutes, but I dont know how long that ride is.
