Transfer from ORY to CDG

This is my first post so please be gentle. :) We booked flights to Spain for Christmas on Air France which require us to tranfer airports in Paris. We've just been informed our return flight from Sevilla to Paris has changed and we now have less than 2 hours to change airports, plus we will have to check bags! I called Air France and they indicated there were no earlier flights. Do you have any suggestions? We do have family in Paris that can take us to CDG but we are a bit panicked.

Can you reschedule the flight at CDG?

Were the legs of this flight booked 'all in' or were they booked separately? If 'all in' the airline has to make it work for you. If you booked them separately, you are on your own, unfortunately.

We booked everything through Air France. The connection in through Air Europa (Air France codeshare). The airline said just to take the chance and they would book us on the next flight if we miss it. That would require a flight from CDG to JFK to IAD. A hassle with a 2 year old but I seem to think that is the only solution. My husband thinks we should ship our bags via Fedex from Sevilla home.

Okay, sounds like you're covered in case the original flights don't hook up (which is a near dead certainty if AF doesn't transfer your luggage).

Air France runs a shuttle bus twice an hour between airports. The fare might even be included in your ticket. But having family do the transfer might work out faster if you just missed the Cars Air France run.

Check your bags to ORY, then relax and let them figure everything else out.

Well, I called the airline again and they realized there were no later flights home for us and the connection would be impossible to make. We have to leave Sevilla a day earlier but now have a free day in Paris, hotel and food paid for by Air France. Thanks for your help.
