There are three cruise terminals: Santa Apolonia, Alcântara and Rocha Conde de Obidos. The first is east of the city centre and the other two are to the west, on the way to Belem. From Santa Apolonia, you'd need to get a bus, the metro or walk to Terreiro do Paço (also known as Praça do Comercio); tram 15E goes from there, and passes the other two cruise terminals en route to Belem.

Hi Geoff
Thanks for responding. The only information that I can find is that the Norwegian Sun will be in The Port of Lisbon (nothing on the three cruise terminals you named)on May 5. When I googled the cruise ship port map in Lisbon, it came up with a dock that appears to be between the city and Belem. There are two public transit icons (which I think maybe the trams) appearing at Alcantara Mar and Pedroucos which look like they would take us to and from Belem.
Can you respond to this? It would be helpful if I could find a site that would name the specific ports and their schedules, but I can't seem to.
Thanks

The port website (www.portodelisboa.pt) has lists of cruise ship calls. The table for the current month includes the location (in the "local" column), but this is not given for future months - it probably depends on how many cruise ships are due to call each day. All three terminals are close to public transport.

Hi Geoff
From what our travel agent has found out, he is inclined to think that we'll be docked at the Rocha Conde de Obidos. I see that there is a tram or bus line that runs close by on the Ave Brasillia, which goes past Belem. Is this correct? I have also learned that tickets for the trams can be bought on board--am I right?
Thanks for all your information
