Trains in Italy
Hello! I will be on my honeymoon and taking the train from Rome Airport to Florence.
We will also be taking the train from Rome to Naples later in our trip.
My wife and I would like to book the quickest trains. Should we book our trains before leaving for Italy? Or just buy our tickets when we arrive at the train stations?
If you suggest buying them beforehand, can you recommend the most reputable website to purchase them from? Thanks!

You can't take a train directly from the airport to Florence, as far as I know. You need to take the Leonardo Express from the airport to Termini, then a train to Florence. I believe when you buy your Leonardo ticket you can also purchase your ticket to Florence at the same ticket window.
Trenitalia is the national train system. You can check schedules and prices on the website and, yes, purchase ahead of time, though there are occasional reports of people having trouble doing so.

I would not purchase your Leonardo ticket in advance or the ticket to Florence. The Leonardo is an old R train with no reserved seating and no discounts for advance purchase. Tickets purchased online for R trains have restrictions that tickets purchased at the station don't. Price is 14€ for the Leonardo from the airport to Rome Termini.
If you buy tickets in advance for Rome/Florence online and your plane is late, you will miss your train as the tickets for fast trains are for a specific train with reserved seating.

I would still suggest at least to think about buying your tickets in advance (meaning those for high-speed trains from Rome), but account a bit (depending on where you flying from and airline) for the flight to be late. Even if it will be on time, then you simply have to spend a spare hour or a few in Rome, far not the worst place to kill your time
The bonus about buying Italian train tickets in advance is that you can get a discounted promo price, allowing you to save quite a lot (like pay only 9 euro instead of 45 which will be charged at the station before departure)
