I can see why you are having a devil of a time trying find the train schedule from Paris to Venezia - Venice - via Lyon. I finally decided that it is best to go at it piece by piece.

Try these two sites; the first one German, the second one French -- and in English. (Mx - Mexico??)
http://bahn.hafas.de/bin/detect.exe/bin/query.exe/e
http://voyages.sncf.fr/voyages_gb/acgb_accueil.html

As near as I can tell, you are going to have to change trains more than once on this journey. So make it simpler and go after by stages:
Paris - Lyon
Lyon - Milano
Milano - Venezia
Hopefully that will help it fall into place.

I tried Rail Europe, but it was useless.

I'm a little confused. Do you need to stop at Lyon?? Or do you mean you want to leave from Paris/Lyon station? If so, you can take a TGV no change from Paris to Milan and then another train to Venice. You leave Paris/Lyon
at 7:54 AM and arrive in Milan at 2:55 PM. You can then leave Milan at 3:05 and arrive in Venice at 5:55 PM. For good train info try www.eurorail.com.
