going to venice again this is our 6th trip from sfo to ??munich milan or zurick .we drive always drive but had major surgery in oct so thought we would fly in and take the train to venice and stay about 10 days.we really love this city.looking at cheap fares milan to venice hours________?zurick hours________munich hours_________.train $$$<BR>can't log on for fares maybe there down..any reply will be appreciated

Last summer we purchased a 5 day three country rail pass which worked like a charm, going from Vienna to Berlin to Rothenburg to Switzerland to Munich. It was cheaper than two long destinations combined and was very convenient. No reservations were necessary, although in one instance we were stuck in the smoking section. The tickets are for first class travel but can be used in second class. The travel can be spread out over a period of two months. The countries need to be contiguous, and to go from Vienna to Berlin, we could not go through the Czech Republic. This pass is available for all the European Community countries.
