Nice restaurant for a 30th birthday in Valencia Spain this summer?

My daughter is taking her brother to Valencia Spain over his 30th birthday weekend in July and wanted info about a nice place for his 30th birthday dinner? He is vegetarian and my daughter isn't .
Does anyone have any recommendations for a fun/quirky restaurant that would make his birthday dinner memorable but not break the bank either? Thanks!

A vegetarian? This is the land of rice dishes (paella).

I know that paella is abundant in Spain-just wanted something fun and memorable other than the usual in Valencia.

I don't have an idea for you, but my report might give you an idea of tapas bars for other meals.
Note that Ca Sento, which I mention in the report, is now closed. Should be no problem for a vegetarian with one of the rice dishes.

Will you have access to a car?

The number one restaurant in the area is Quique Dacosta (www.quiquedacosta.es), 2 Michelin stars and 3 Repsol suns.

Other top selections in Valencia include: La Sucursal (www.restaurantelasucursal.com), Óscar Torrijos (www.restauranteoscartorrijos.com), Restaurante Riff (www.restaurante-riff.com), Restaurante Rías Gallegas (www.riasgallegas.es) and Ricard Camarena (www.ricardcamarena.com).

Regardless of where your daughter and her brother dine, ordering vegetarian shouldn't be a problem.

Carosel or Seu Xerea. Both great chefs. Sorry I didn't see this before!
