Trainn from Wengen to Zurich help?
It has been recommended not to take a car...so HOW can I get from Wengen to Zurich. Can it be done in a reasonable amount of time?...Please advise!! Any info would be greatly appreciated!! john

Use sbb.ch and put in your destinations. You'll get all the info you need.
Here's an example:
Zürich HB (Hauptbahnhof) Depart 8.00
Wengen Arrive: 10.44 (2.44 min.)
Change trains in Bern, Interlaken Ost and Lauterbrunnen.
Make sure you hit the "en" button on top for English.

Yes, the train takes credit cards. Yes, there are both live attendants and ticket machines.
Note that there is a train station in the basement of the Zuerich airport, so use "Zurich airport" as your departure station.

Hi again,
The English pages of the SBB accept English spelling. Just use "Zurich airport" as your departure, as I noted above. As scatcat says, "HB" is the main station, the Haubtbahnhof that is downtown.

Oh , yes..Got it now..Thanks...all is good. My train is set...Pack in layers..and I have a nice hotel in Zurich for the last night..with the Caprice for our stay in Wengen...as always you guys are great...caio
