train website for germany

many websites have train tickets you can buy ahead of time with handling fees etc. I'm looking for a website with the actual ticket prices for when you purchase the tickets at the train station in Germany. Just want to budget for the train ahead of time...can anyone help with that? Thank you!

Kelley,

There is tons of info already posted on this website about that question. Just do a search and you should come up with many answers. I use 2 website for most of my "real" cost questions. One gives you cost for many cities combinations for both 1st and 2nd class.

It is "http://www.odyssey.on.ca/~europrail/". The other is the European National Railway at "http://mercurio.iet.unipi.it/home.html". You can use the German DB website to also get cost info. If I find anything better I will post it.

Happy Planning.

Greg
Search "mercurio" on this forum for a "master website" - - to the webpages for every country's rail site.

Best wishes,

Rex
